A free pattern was released this Spring, but it never got its day in the sun. Time to change that!
This is the Coastline Scarf in Unity and Unity Beyond (pattern link).
Things to like about this pattern: the chevron isn’t straight stockinette. It’s interspersed with garter rows, which helps keep it from curling.
It’s knit lengthwise, to really maximize the self-striping effect of Fibra Natura Unity Beyond, which is alternated with solid Unity.
And it only takes one ball of each yarn, making this scarf very achievable. It’s very warm weather appropriate, too – I can see this with jeans and a plain tee, paired with some kicky earrings.
I’m actually eyeing this for myself, but in Unity 107 Purple Fog and Unity Beyond 203 Biscotti.
It’s a color combo that’s missing from my wardrobe, but when sometimes you see things together and they speak to you. This is a great opportunity to branch out and knit something fun at the same time!
Happy crafting!
