Hello and Happy Holidays, crafters! We hope you’ve enjoyed some quality time with your family or friends this holiday season, and also had time for your favorite fiber arts!
This week, our Free Pattern Friday release is the Frosted Leaves Wrap, designed by Andi Javori. Knit using Wool Pop, this lacy wrap will be a beautiful addition to any winter ensemble! Keep reading below to learn more about this stunning pattern.
The Frosted Leaves wrap is knit flat from the bottom up and features a lace stitch pattern worked on the main body of the piece. If you’re not an expert with lace, don’t fret! This pattern is a 13-stitch repeat that is fairly easy to memorize and uses only basic increases and decreases. The resulting pattern is reminiscent of pretty snow covered leaves, hence the name!
Our Wool Pop yarn was chosen for this project, thanks to its graceful drape and sheen. This DK-weight blend of bamboo, wool, and polyamide looks gorgeous in lace and other textured stitch patterns. Thanks to Wool Pop’s fiber blend, it’s suitable to wear year-round!
Designer Andi Javori chose the color 619 Blue Whisper for this project sample, which I think is a perfect icy winter blue. Which color would you choose to knit the Frosted Leaves Wrap in? I think I’d choose 627 Empress, because I love wearing purple.
We hope you enjoy knitting the new free Frosted Leaves Wrap! Don’t forget that Wool Pop is 20% off this weekend only to coincide with this pattern release, so you can grab the yarn you need at a discount!
Happy Holiday Crafting,
Aubrey
