The sample shown uses colors 112 Black (solid) and 225 Geode (multi) in a color-blocked design. The entirety of this shawl uses simple garter stitch so you can focus on the construction of this pattern. You will start by increasing from two stitches with the color of your choice. Once you reach the center, you will change colors and then decrease to complete the shawl.

As knitters and crocheters, we sometimes overlook the summer stitching season or wish away the heat in favor of sweater weather.
