Free Pattern Friday – Brick by Brick Cowl

More like Free Pattern Fri-YAY! This week’s offering is the Brick by Brick Cowl by Patty Olson. Are you ready to add this cute staple into your wardrobe? It is sure to get a compliment wherever you go, no matter how you wear it!

This cowl is a quick knit, making it an ideal gift for fashion-conscious friends or our plan-ahead Christmas gift makers. With slipped stitch details, it’s easier than it looks, so everyone will think you worked really hard on it, too!

We chose summery colors here, but with our wide variety of colors in Deluxe Worsted Superwash, you can combine any two to make it worthy of any season! You could even make a combination to support your favorite sports team, or your local high school.

Personally, I love a striking combo with a color pop, so I would pick 743 Bashful Pink as the stockinette background and use 735 Ebony as the slipped stitched and garter detail.

Since the yarn is washable, you don’t have to worry if you get something on it; just stick it in the washing machine and it’ll be back to perfect condition.
